Oxlade’s Massive Hit Song, “Kulosa,” Receives A Diamond Certification In France

“Kulosa” by Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Oxlade, is the most recent Afrobeats song to receive a platinum certification in France. Some Afrobeats songs have become worldwide hits thanks to Tik Tok, like as Oxlade’s “Kulosa” performance at Colors Studios, where fans extensively replicated the music video and helped the song gain popularity.

According to recent developments, Oxlade’s “Kulosa” has received over 50,000,000 streams in France and has been certified diamond by the French music certification agency SNEP. The song was distributed by Epic Records and released in June 2022. France propelled Oxlade to global prominence, particularly in that country, where it peaked at number 18 on the SNEP chart and ended up at number 141 on the year-end chart.

The crowd roared when Oxlade sang the song during Wizkid’s Accor Arena event in France, he recalled at a live broadcast of the Zero Conditions Podcast in December 2023. With more than 80 million views on YouTube, the music video that started the social media challenge has gained popularity. The song gained additional international recognition when Oxlade’s remix included Cuban pop artist Camilla Cabello.

The French Afrobeats songs “Last Last,” “Rush,” and “Calm Down” by Rema, Ayra Starr, and Oxlade are the latest to receive the diamond certification. Oxlade’s “Kulosa” has received over 287 million plays on Spotify.
