Ozzy Osbourne Discloses “Slow Recovery” Following Last Spinal Surgery

Following back surgery on his spine last year, Ozzy Osbourne has updated his fans on his health, stating he is experiencing a “slow recovery.” After a fall in 2019 loosened many metal rods that were inserted into his body during a quad bike collision in 2003, the Black Sabbath leader announced that he had undergone his “final” operation in September, saying he “couldn’t do it anymore.”

Ozzy Osbourne had to cancel his European and UK tour dates in February of last year due to Parkinson’s disease and other health issues. However, he clarified that he would resume touring if his doctors allowed him to. In a recent health update, he shared that he’s doing much better and on the road to recovery. During a recent episode of The Osbournes Podcast, musician Billy Morrison complimented him by saying he was “looking so much better.”. Ozzy Osbourne is determined to overcome his health issues and get back on stage, and he’s making steady progress towards that goal.

“The Prince of Darkness” commented on his sobriety.

“It’s just a job; it’s what I do now. ” “I just came back from the doctor today and my blood clots are gone, everything’s back to normal. I can bend my neck. I just gotta get my balance going now.”

“I’m not seeing so many doctors anymore. I’m just seeing the Parkinson’s doctor but I’m not having surgery or anything. I had seven surgeries in five years.”

On his improved neck mobility,

“It’s a slow recovery because I’m not as young as I used to be so recovery of anything is gonna take time.”

In December, Ozzy Osbourne was the subject of some unfounded rumours that claimed he had passed away. However, during an episode of The Osbournes podcast, he immediately quashed these false claims and emphatically declared that he was “not going any-fucking-where.” Moreover, he recently lauded T-Pain’s cover of Black Sabbath’s iconic track ‘War Pigs’, unequivocally stating that it is the best cover he has ever heard. T-Pain released his covers album ‘On Top Of The Covers’ in March, which included his version of ‘War Pigs’. Subsequently, a video of T-Pain performing the song live gained widespread popularity in December.
