Pearl Jam Announces “Dark Matter,” Their Upcoming Album, And Plans Of A World Tour

Pearl Jam announced a world tour and the release date of their twelfth studio album, “Dark Matter,” which is set for April 19. On Tuesday morning, the band released the thrilling title tune from the set.

In May, a few weeks after “Dark Matter” is released, a 35-city global tour will begin, stopping in nine countries and 25 cities, beginning at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Pearl Jam will play their first homecoming show in six years at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, as well as stops at Wrigley Field, Madison Square Garden, and Fenway Park in North America.

Deep Sea Diver, Glen Hansard, The Murder Capital, Richard Ashcroft, and Pixies are among the special guests. The band is selling tickets only through mobile devices and will not be offering transfers. They are also using all-in pricing, which guarantees full transparency of the ticket price.

Fans may sell their tickets on the Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange, where markups are not permitted, if they are unable to utilize them. “Dark Matter,” which was produced by multiple Grammy Award winner Andrew Watt, is the band’s first release since 2020’s “Gigaton.” The album, which has eleven tracks, was composed and recorded in Shangri-La Studios in Malibu last year.
