Police Investigate The Attack On Tiwa Savage’s Residence In Lagos

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has taken to social media to clear up the recent rumors surrounding her abduction. In a statement signed by her manager, the Stamina hitmaker confirmed that there had indeed been a serious security breach at her Lagos residence on Thursday, April 13. However, the singer said the suspects were arrested for questioning at the police station in Alagbo, Ikoyi.

Ms. Savage and her family are doing well, according to the published statement. Tiwa Savage also took this opportunity to thank her fans, colleagues, and others who tried to check on her health.

Police last week charged four people, Eniola Adeniyi, Donatus Osabanumonu, Idorenyi Okon, and Michael Rodolphe, at Yaba Magistrates Court in Lagos for allegedly threatening the life of Tiwa Savage. They were charged before Judge Adeola Olatunbosun by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Force, Annex, Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos, on three counts of conspiracy, intent to commit fraud, and threatening to kill.

Prosecutor Idowu Oshubure told the court that the alleged defendants committed the crime on or before April 13, 2023. It turns out that the failed plot was supposed to be planned by Savage’s new domestic worker, who was given important information about her. It’s a good thing the plot was foiled, and no life was lost.
