Rapsody’s “Please Don’t Cry” Tracklist Revealed; Hit-Boy, Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, And More Featured

The music industry is constantly evolving, and it’s always exciting to see new trends emerge. In 2023, female rap music saw a significant surge in popularity, and this trend has continued well into 2024. It’s impressive to see Nicki Minaj still making waves in the industry with her Pink Friday 2 Tour, which followed her recent back-and-forth with Megan Thee Stallion. Meanwhile, Ice Spice and Latto have been making headlines with their latest solo releases, and it seems they are not afraid to take shots at each other.

As the cold winter months fade away and the world awakens to new life this spring, fans eagerly await Rapsody’s upcoming album, “Please Don’t Cry,” which is set to be released on May 17th. Fans expect a masterpiece, and the Rhapsody album is eagerly awaited worldwide. On March 14th, @OnThinIce shared the album’s tracklist on Twitter/X, revealing that the album will feature a collaboration between Rapsody and Phylicia Rashad on “She’s Expecting You” as the opening track. The album will then move on to “Marlann” before featuring the previously-released single “Asteroids,” which includes Hit-Boy and other joint efforts with Bee-B, Dixson, Erykah Badu, and Alex Isley. The tracklist also features solo efforts between the joint efforts, proving that Rapsody has no problem carrying the beat alone.

Other guest appearances on the 22-song tracklist will come from Bibi Bourelly, Keznamdi, Niko Brim, Baby Tate, and Amber Navran. However, the most noteworthy guest appearance on the album is Lil Wayne, arguably the biggest name in rap to appear on “Please Don’t Cry.” Lil Wayne’s collaboration with Rapsody is titled “Raw,” and it’s clear that the two artists have great chemistry on the track. Fans worldwide eagerly anticipate the album’s release, and it’s expected to be a testament to Rapsody’s incredible talent as an artist.
