Veteran American musician, Erykah Badu, has teamed up with Rapsody, a new school Grammy-nominated rapper, to make some fresh musical magic.
In terms of hip-hop and R&B, Erykah Badu represents the pinnacle of what it takes to be a legendary musician. She is still going strong after roughly 22 years. Rapsody, however, hasn’t been around for very long. In 2020, she made her debut.
She has far less experience on paper than Badu does, yet she is already well on her way to becoming a legend. This is the reason there’s a lot of excitement surrounding Erykah Badu and Rapsody’s impending marriage on this song.
To help celebrate Badu’s 53rd birthday, the two recently shared the stage. HipHopDX claims that Dallas, Texas, was the location of the concert. Rapsody and Erykah Badu chose to title the song “3:AM.” We can tell from the teaser that their second project together will be soothing and breathtakingly lovely. As usual, Badu delivers a soulful song, while Rapsody delivers the raps.
But the fans weren’t only lusting for that. When Rapsody posted the lovely moment on Instagram, folks couldn’t help but notice Badu’s outfit. The Dallas native was wearing thigh-high black leather boots with skin-tight pink and purple shorts, proudly exposing her posterior.
