Shygirl Unveils Deluxe Edition Of Nymph Album, Nymph_o

Shygirl, the experimental pop sensation, released Nymph_o, a deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed debut album, Nymph, on April 14, 2023, via Because Music.

Bjork, Eartheater, Erika de Casier, Tinashe, Sevdaliza, Deto Black, Fatima Al Qadiri, and Arca, among others, remix and feature on the 11-track deluxe edition.

The extended album includes the newly released singles “Playboy/Positions,” which is accompanied by a music video directed by Sam Ibram, “Woe (I See It From Your Side),” the Bjork remix of “Woe (I See It From Your Side),” and Tinashe’s version of “Heaven.” Shygirl has finished the North American leg of her Nymph World Tour, which includes sold-out shows in Vancouver, Seattle, San Diego, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, and New York. Tickets for her next Atlanta and Miami shows are still on sale.

Nymph_o outperforms the debut album in terms of emotional depth and intimacy. The debut album’s songs, including “Shlut,” “Nike,” “Coochie (a bedtime story),” “Come For Me,” and “Firefly,” all showcased Shygirl’s particular flair. According to Pitchfork, the album is “a definitive collection of songs that builds upon what already makes the artist remarkable.”

Shygirl has made a name for herself in the fashion sector in addition to her musical achievements. She has appeared in the Calvin Klein Fall campaign, the Burberry AW21 show, and Daniel Lee’s debut collection for Burberry’s campaign. She has graced the pages of numerous major publications, including Office Magazine, V Magazine, AnOther Magazine, and 032c, and she was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30.
