Skepta’s “Jangrova” Enters Turntable Nigeria’s Top 100 At Number 28
On Turntable’s Nigeria Top 100, British-Nigerian rapper Skepta’s song “Jangrova” debuted at position 28.
Skepta’s most recent track includes British actor and rapper Idris Elba and hip-hop artist Odumodublvck. Skepta thus receives his fifth entry on the official Nigerian singles list. It also marks his fifth appearance on the official singles list in Nigeria and his first entry on the chart as the lead artist.

Skepta tweeted “Thank You Nigeria” in response to hearing about his debut. Additionally, Skepta revealed that “Knife and Fork,” his sixth studio album, will be available in 2024, making it his first full-length album since 2019.
Skepta made his directing debut announcement for Tribal Mark with the release of “Jangrova.” January 26, 2024, saw the premiere of the directed debut. The film’s moving story is about that of a Nigerian immigrant adjusting to life abroad.
The plot also explores the world of a Black Secret Service undercover agent. A wide range of up-and-coming Black actors are in the cast, Jude Carmichael as Young Mark, the movie’s main character.
Besides his appearance on the Turntable Nigeria chart, Skepta and well-known Nigerian vocalist Portable released a teaser for their upcoming joint collaboration. A social media post revealed the teaser, which gives an idea of the two musicians’ musical chemistry.
