Stonebwoy Rings In His New Age Surrounded By Family And Friends

The celebrated Ghanaian Dancehall singer, Stonebwoy, turned a year older and commemorated it in New York with family and loved ones. The singer had a small party in the energetic metropolis of New York over the weekend to celebrate his birthday in style.

His devoted wife Louisa Strong put a lot of work into planning the little gathering. This demonstrated the couple’s strong relationship. Accompanied by distinguished associates and friends, the occasion was enhanced by the brilliant Afrofuture group, whose participation brought their unique flair to the celebrations.

Notably, Kidi, another well-known musician from Ghana, was present and gave Stonebwoy encouragement and well wishes on his big day. Stonebwoy got the chance to meet renowned Haitian-American musician Wyclef Jean while he was in New York.

The Haitian-American artist warmly invited the Ghanaian Dancehall performer into his New York apartment, setting up an incredible encounter. It was more than just a friendly get-together. Apart from their mutual acquaintance, the two musicians also enjoyed a common Ghanaian meal, waakye.

The musician has recently disclosed that he is of Nigerian descent. Stonebwoy, a member of the Ghanaian Ewe tribe, asserted that his forefathers originated in the historical Oyo Kingdom of Nigeria. He went on to say that the Ewe, his tribe, were the first people to settle in Ilesha, Osun State.
