Taylor Swift Reacts To Jokes On Her And Partner Travis Kelce At Golden Globes Award

Taylor Swift’s romance is in the news again, and this time, her reaction to a joke made by host Jo Koy of the Golden Globes is trending. Jo made light of her and Travis Kelce’s romance during his monologue, and Swift didn’t seem impressed. Koy was making reference to Swift’s frequent high-profile attendance at Kansas City Chiefs games with her new beau, Travis Kelce. With a sour smile on her face, the “Bad Blood” singer was seen rolling her eyes and taking a sip of her drink, seemingly angered by Koy’s remark.

In a bid to lighten the mood, the comic took advantage of the media flurry around her appearing at many Kansas City Chiefs games to crack a joke—it was ill-recieved. He began by saying,

“We came on after a football doubleheader,” “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL… On the Golden Globe,  we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swif.”

During the evening, Koy defended himself against jeers from the audience by saying,

“Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago. You want a perfect monologue? Yo, shut up. I wrote some of these, and those are the ones you’re gonna laugh at.”

After being ridiculed by host Jo Koy at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday night, Taylor Swift was pissed for too long as she was reportedly spotted having a heated gossip session with Selena Gomez and Keleigh Sperry. Also, during Ayo Edebiri’s acceptance speech for Best Performance in a Television Series—Musical or Comedy—which she received for her role in The Bear, Swift’s reaction was also captured on camera. Swift grinned as Edebiri praised “all of my agents’ and managers’ assistants” in addition to her friends and family. As Edebiri put it,

“To the people who answer my emails, y’all are real ones. Thank you for answering my crazy, crazy emails,”

“If I forgot to thank you, I’m sorry. Unless you were mean or something. Okay, bye!”
