The Weeknd Builds Excitement For New Album With Cryptic Teaser

A mysterious teaser for a new album appears to have been released by The Weeknd on social media over the weekend. On Sunday, January 7, Abel used X, formerly known as Twitter, to reveal some details about his upcoming project, which seems to be the conclusion of another trilogy in his collection.

The musician shared the album covers for his most recent two releases, After Hours in 2020 and Dawn FM in 2022, along with a question mark hinting to the release of the trilogy’s third and final volume. In the message, he included a “3” emoji as well.

The Weeknd had previously made references to Dawn FM and After Hours being a part of a trilogy in 2022. Following his tweet, fans started looking for explanations. One Reddit user speculated that “Every Angel Is Terrifying,” track number 12 on Dawn FM, is a clue that The Weeknd’s upcoming album will be titled After Life.

The singer begins the song by harmonizing with the future production, and then the radio dial changes to him speaking about angels.
