Tiwa Savage Drops The Official Soundtrack Album To “Water & Garri,” Her First Feature Film

The soundtrack album for Nigerian singer-songwriter and burgeoning actress, Tiwa Savage’s upcoming feature debut, “Water & Garri,” has been made available.

On May 10, 2024, the film produced by Everything Savage and Unbound Studios was made available on Prime Video. The complete music was made available through EMPIRE. Tiwa Savage had released the single “Lost Time” before of the soundtrack album’s release. Khari “Needlz” Cain, a producer for various A-list musicians like Bruno Mars, Drake, and Cardi B, produced the song.

Poo Bear, who has amazing credits including Justin Bieber, TY Dolla, and Usher, also co-produced the track. Tiwa Savage, an award-winning singer, curated the immersive soundtrack album, which features 10 of her original songs along with guest performances from musicians from the Afropop, R&B, and Hip Hop genres.

Cortez, the legendary Black Sherif of Ghana, the Nigerian hitmakers Reekado Banks & Young Jonn, the gifted singer and producer Mystro Sugar, and the Neo-Highlife duo, The Cavemen, are some of the other guest artists.

The movie “Water & Garri” and its soundtrack represent a turning point in Tiwa’s career as she enters the film industry and takes on her first lead role in a feature film, in addition to serving as its executive producer.
