Wendy Williams Makes Her First Public Outing Following Rehab

Wendy Williams is appreciating the support of her devoted fan base. The talk-show presenter left the house on November 21 to go to her former radio station’s annual Circle of Sisters celebration, more than a month after returning from a private stay at a healing center. Wendy and WBLS DJ JusNik had a talk at the event, which took place at Resorts World in Queens, New York.

When Wendy took part in the event, the applause, thanks, and praise from the crowd brought her to tears, according to her representative Shawn Zanotti, who spoke to E! News. Wendy spoke in front of a crowd of fans and stated,  “These are tears of laughter, but also tears of sincere just thank you.”

Wendy exhibited her signature flair for her afternoon in the Big Apple by donning furry boots and a sparkly outfit. Back on October 18, E! News reported that Wendy had checked into a wellness center in August and was now recuperating at home. Her representative at the time said in a statement to the aforementioned media outlet that Wendy was enthusiastic about the road ahead and was anticipating releasing her numerous projects.

The updates follow Wendy’s announcement that she will be taking a leave of absence from The Wendy Williams Show due to “ongoing medical issues.”
