Young Thug’s Sister, Angela Grier, Has Passed Away
Young Thug has experienced yet another tragic loss. Angela Grier, the rapper’s older sister, has died. Her family members, who shared their grief on social media, verified the tragic news. Dolly White uploaded a picture of her deceased sister to Instagram and a statement that included several crying and heartbreak emojis. She additionally uploaded a balloon release video. In the Instagram comments, family friends Metro Boomin, London On Da Track, and Tameka “Tiny” Harris expressed sympathy.
Angela spoke to her brother on a video call from prison just before she passed away, during which he flaunted his physical makeover. Angela captioned a picture of her screen, “My Heart.”

Dora, Angela’s other sister, similarly mourned the loss of her sibling by updating her Instagram profile picture and posting a sad emoji on Twitter.

Young Thug has not commented on the demise of his sister. He continues to be detained as he awaits his trial in the YSL RICO case. However, he lamented the loss of his protege Lil Keed, who died at 24 from natural causes due to eosinophilia, days after his arrest in May 2022. The public trial’s jury selection process is still in progress.
Many YSL members have accepted plea bargains after being indicted in the 56-count indictment that claims YSL is a street gang. These individuals include Gunna and Thug’s brother Unfoonk.
