Jonathan Taylor, a running back for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL), was born on January 19, 1999. Taylor set a state record for rushing yards while playing high school football at Salem High School in New Jersey. At Wisconsin, where he played three seasons of college football, he concluded his collegiate career as the NCAA’s sixth-leading rusher all-time and became the first athlete to ever rush for more than 6,000 yards over a three-year period.

Taylor received the Doak Walker Award in both the 2018 and 2019 seasons, was named to the unanimous first-team All-American team, and placed in the top 10 of the Heisman Trophy vote three times. Taylor was chosen by the Colts with the 41st overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
