On the February 14 song “Numbers” by A Boogie With da Hoodie, he appeared on Marlo’s “My Hood” with Roddy Ricch and London on da Track. Later, Gunna and Nav collaborated on the song “Turks,” featuring Travis Scott. The song, made available on March 27, 2020, is the debut single from Nav’s third studio album, Good Intentions (Gunna is also featured on the album’s track “Codeine”).
The three musicians had previously worked together on Scott’s “Yosemite,” but “Turks” was their second joint effort. The COVID-19 pandemic was brought up in a song he co-wrote with Young Thug and producer Turbo, “Quarantine Clean,” released six days later, on April 2, 2020.
He released “Skybox,” the lead single off his second studio album Wunna, on March 6, 2020. It was released together with a music video. Gunna made the album’s lead single, the title tune, available on May 18, 2020. Gunna released the album on May 22, which was four days later. Young Thug, Nechie, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Travis Scott make cameo appearances on it. His first number-one album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. The deluxe edition, which included eight new songs and additional guest performances from Yak Gotti, Future, Nav, and Lil Uzi Vert, was released on July 24, 2020.

In a 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) indictment brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in May 2022, Kitchens and Young Thug were two of 28 individuals connected to YSL that were indicted. Kitchens surrendered to authorities on May 11, 2022. Kitchens’ application for bond was rejected, and his trial was set to start on January 9, 2023.
Kitchens was once more denied release from custody on October 13, 2022, before his trial in January. Kitchens entered a plea of guilty to a single charge of racketeering on December 14, 2022, and was given a sentence of five years in prison, with one year being commuted to time served and the remainder suspended subject to probation requirements, including 500 hours of community service. He accepted the “guilty plea,” received bail, and was recently released from jail as he maintained his “innocence.” Yung Thug, meanwhile, remains in prison and has many wondering if Gunna “snitched’ his way out.
