The Game Biography
The Game was born Jayceon Terrell Taylor on November 29, 1979, in Compton, California, to Crips street gang members George Taylor and Lynette Baker. Although Taylor grew up to become a member of the Cedar Block Piru Bloods through his brother, he lived in Santana Blocc, an area predominantly under the authority of the Crips. The Game called his family “dysfunctional” in an October 2006 interview with MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway. A leader of the Cedar Block Piru Bloods in West Compton, California, was his older half-brother George Taylor III, better known as the rapper Big Fase 100.
His parents were drug users. Therefore, he had a difficult childhood. Jayceon was sent into foster care when he was seven after his father allegedly assaulted his sisters. His parents, George Taylor, and Lynette Baker, were Crips gang members. He had a Hoover Crippelette for a mother and a Nutty Block Crip for a father. His father died at 65, and much isn’t known about his mother as he tries to keep her away from the prying eyes of the press.
Siblings
Game’s older brother Jevon, who was 17 years old at the time, was shot at a gas station when he was 13. Recently, his brother had signed a record deal. Taylor claims that he believed his father’s absence contributed to the incident and that his brother would not have been shot if he had been present. Game visited Jevon the day before he passed away, promising that things would improve and time lost would be made up. After they called off their engagement, Game started seeing a sixth-grade teacher named Tiffney Cambridge. The Black Wall Street Records, which The Game and his half-brother George, better known as Big Fase, had created, issued his debut mixtape, “You Know What It Is Vol. 1,” in 2002. Get Low Recordz offered him a record contract. He was found by Dr. Dre a short while after, and in 2003, he signed him to his label Aftermath Entertainment. To make Game popular, Dr. Dre, Interscope Records, and G-Unit sent Game to work with them in 2003. The Game’s debut cameo in a music video, 50 Cent’s “In da Club,” was a success. He has since made numerous cameos in music videos for artists including 50 Cent, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Fabolous.

It was also the 10th best-selling album in the US in 2005. ‘Doctor’s Advocate,’ his second studio album, is another of his notable creations. He also had a lot of success with his “The R.E.D. The album,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 98,000 units in its first week.
He and 50 Cent agreed to put their problems behind them after ending their 12-year feud in August 2016 as he turned his attention to Meek Mill. Rapper Meek Mill was mocked in Game’s song “92 Bars,” which he released in September 2016.
The Game has been part of a number of legal disputes. For assaulting a fan in 2005, he was sued. The same year, he was detained for acting erratically in a mall.
