Asake Publicly Declares His Love For Seyi Vibez’ Hit Single, “Different Pattern”
Asake isn’t afraid to express his love for “Different Pattern,” a song by Seyi Vibez.
In an unexpected development that is likely to thrill fans, Asake said on his Instagram account that he truly loves the hit song “Different Pattern” by Seyi Vibez. Asake wrote on his Instagram story on February 22, 2024, “Genuinely love @seyi_vibez ‘Different Pattern,” demonstrating that the two celebrities are not at odds.
When Asake hit the limelight in January 2022, he wowed audiences with his electrifying neo-fuji music, which fused hip-hop, Fuji music, and Afrobeats. Later that year, Seyi Vibez became well-known for his popular song “Chance,” which was strikingly similar to Asake’s “Organise.”
Asake’s music is sonically emphasized by Fuji music, a Yoruba indigenous music genre, whereas Apala, another Yoruba indigenous music genre, defined Seyi Vibez’s sound. The use of hip-hop exploration and White garment church music were commonalities that inevitably prompted fans to draw analogies.
