BTS’s V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has officially been unveiled as the latest global ambassador for the renowned French luxury jewelry brand, Cartier. The K-pop sensation is set to represent one of Cartier’s most iconic lines, the ‘Panthère de Cartier’. This collaboration has garnered significant attention, with fans and luxury enthusiasts alike eagerly anticipating the synergy between the global idol and the prestigious brand.

The decision to choose V as the face of the ‘Panthère de Cartier’ campaign was influenced by his resemblance to the panther, an animal celebrated for its intelligence and versatility. Cartier highlighted that V shares “the same creative spirit and magnetic gaze as the panther”. In the campaign, V is seen flaunting exquisite pieces from the Panthère jewelry collection, including a sculptural diamond ring, a tête-à-tête panther bracelet, and the Révélation d’une Panthère watch. This isn’t V’s first foray into the world of luxury endorsements. He is also a global ambassador for the luxury fashion brand ‘CELINE’. Moreover, BTS, the group he is a part of, has been chosen as the faces of another luxury giant, Louis Vuitton. By joining Cartier’s ambassadorial ranks, V stands alongside other Asian celebrities like Blackpink’s Jisoo, Chinese actress Gong Li, and Got7’s Jackson Wang. This collaboration not only underscores Cartier’s dedication to embracing diversity but also highlights the brand’s strategy of partnering with influential global talents.
