Pharrell Brings Lebron James Into The Trendy New Louis Vuitton Ad Campaign

For his most recent Louis Vuitton ad, Pharrell Williams has enlisted LeBron James’ talents—but not his basketball skills. The NBA player was formally introduced as the face of the French luxury brand’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2024 line on Thursday, January 4.

King James can be seen walking around city streets while sporting a range of outfits and bags in stylish pictures and videos that have been posted on social media.

This week, LV pop-up shops in New York and Los Angeles hosted the unveiling of the new collection, which makes use of Pharrell and LeBron’s combined global influence and creative talents.

It’s not just LeBron James that Pharrell collaborates with. The Neptunes hitmaker hinted on social media last month that he was working on Playboi Carti’s much awaited album, seemingly indicating that he was involved.

Carti has released a number of possible singles in recent weeks, including the Travis Scott-featured “BACKR00MS,” the Kanye West-produced “2024,” and “H00DBYAIR,” where he disclosed he has a daughter. However, specifics about the album are still scarce.

The mysterious project, according to Akademiks, will be unveiled in January and is “the greatest thing you ever heard.” As for Pharrell, he could benefit from some positive exposure with his new Louis Vuitton campaign. In November, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) publically chastised him over LV’s Millionaire Speedy bag.
