Budweiser’s BudxUncovered Set To Discover Naija’s Next Music Superstar As Talent Hunt Launches In Port-Harcourt; Fans React To BNXN Performance

In recent years, Budweiser has made a mark on the Nigerian market and has also been prominent in the sports sector. This time, The premium brew company provides “The Stage” for up-and-coming artists to perform in Port Harcourt, Enugu, Lagos, etc., ensuring the chance is “Yours to Take.” Rising Nigerian talent was encouraged by the Budweiser BudxUncovered campaign to visit Budweiser.com and submit a demo tape to compete at one of the six regional stages. From the information gathered, there are still four stages left for entries.

Six up-and-coming musicians performed for a captive audience on August 12 at the Aztech Arcum Event Center in Port Harcourt, hoping to win a golden ticket to the Budweiser BudxUncovered Grand Finale in Lagos. Superstar host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu made a special appearance for attendees at the BudxUncovered Port Harcourt Stage, and BNXN (FKA Buju) performed to close the event, declaring it to have been a fulfilling and memorable evening thanks to Budweiser. The musicians showcased their unique talents and captivated the audience with incredible performances, leaving everyone in awe. The electrifying atmosphere created by the combination of talented artists and Budweiser’s support made it a night for the performers and attendees to remember.

Emmanuel Somtoochukwu, better known by his stage name Calian, was chosen as the first winner of the BudxUncovered Regional Stages after receiving an essentially unanimous 5-star rating from the audience. Calian’s captivating stage presence and exceptional vocal talent amazed the audience. His unique blend of soulful melodies and powerful lyrics resonated deeply with listeners, solidifying his well-deserved victory.

The “Port Harcourt Stage” is the first of six events, the others in Enugu, Asaba, Uyo, Calabar, and Lagos. A new musical treasure was discovered on Sunday, August 20, at the Kobb Civic Center, Shoprite, and Enugu. Details shortly.

Finalists from each city will compete in a showdown in Lagos on September 23 to win an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, USA, where they will perform on a large stage alongside other international acts. The finalists can showcase their talent on a global platform and network with renowned artists worldwide. This experience will undoubtedly open doors for their future career in the entertainment industry.
