Carter Efe Tears Up After Headies Pass Over His Song

Skit maker and musician, Carter Efe, was spotted crying furiously as he made a bold demand to the Headies Awards. The acclaimed musician issued a 24-hour deadline to the prestigious awards to alter their nominee list and include him immediately. His grief stemmed from the surprising omission of his global hit song “Machala,” which left him without a single nomination.

Witnesses say Efe’s emotional outburst reflected his enthusiasm and dedication to his craft. The musician poured his heart and everything into “Machala,” and the result was unmistakable worldwide triumph. Fans from all across the world expressed their fury on social media, joining Efe in his request for recognition.

The bugeorning musician used his Instagram live to scream and express his outrage at the unfair deed. According to him, his song dominated last year, and no song came close to matching it in terms of popularity among fans in 2022.

The song, however, has been the subject of multiple copyright issues between Carter Efe and his cosinger Berri Tiga, which could have influenced the Headies judgment.  Carter Efe, on the other hand, went ahead and challenged the Headies to find a song that dominated the charts more than his single did the year before.
