Davido And Stonebwoy Link In Qatar Ahead Of Their Performances

African music icons Davido and Stonebwoy have landed in Qatar in preparation for their individual World Cup performances. On Friday, December 16, 2022, in Doha, Nigeria’s Davido is scheduled to perform in the closing ceremony, and Stonebwoy is anticipated to electrify fans at the fan festival. Due to their international collaborations with some of the top acts in the world, the multiple award-winning artists are well-recognized all over the world.

Afrobeats musician Davido, notably known for the hits Fall and If, collaborated with AISHA and Trinidad Cardona to create the World Cup song Heyya Heyya. Following their arrival in Doha, the two performers were seen with assistant Ghana coach George Boateng in a photo that has gone viral on social media.

After a month-long tournament, the 2022 FIFA World Cup will culminate on Sunday, December 18. In the championship game at Lusail stadium, defending champion France will take on Lionel Messi and Argentina. It had been previously revealed that Stonebwoy was scheduled to perform at the Qatar-hosted FIFA World Cup in 2022. On December 16, the African reggae-dancehall singer will dazzle fans at the FIFA fan celebration as part of events to honor the conclusion of a month-long tournament.

On their official social media accounts, Stonebwoy’s label announced the Dancehall icon would be performing at the fan festival.
