Davido Announces His Intention To Leave The Music Business
Afrobeats star, Davido, stated on social media when he plans to leave the music business. In a recent post on social media, multi-award winning singer and performer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, announced his future retirement from the Nigerian music industry.
The singer, who had previously responded to his semi-naked photos that had taken over social media, said he could retire following the release of his eagerly awaited album, which he confirmed would be a follow-up to what is likely one of the greatest albums to come out of Nigeria, “Timeless.”
The singer expressed his displeasure with others’ attempts to pull him down as an artist, as well as their forceful attempt to persuade him to leave the music profession. After the release of his upcoming album, he made it obvious that he would be leaving the music industry.

More recently, the musician and his baby mama, Amanda, commemorated the birthday of their daughter, Hailey Adeleke, who turned seven years old. Davido’s second child, Hailey, received emotional birthday messages from her parents Amanda, his baby mama from the United States.
Davido also posted a heartfelt message on social media expressing his love for his daughter and calling her his twin and a blessing in his life.
