DJ Drama Proudly Says He Wants “All The Smoke” In Any Potential “Verzuz” With DJ Khaled

DJ Drama wants to prove something, and a Verzuz matchup might be the perfect opportunity. This year, the Philadelphia native has been very active in the music scene, releasing songs like Dreamville’s D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape and the summertime hit “Forever,” which features a number of well-known New York musicians, including Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, Jim Jones, and Capella Grey.

With the success of his single “Staying Alive,” which he shared with Drake and Lil Baby, and the anticipation for his upcoming album God Did It, his rival DJ Khaled also had a successful year. Who will prevail in a theoretical Verzuz war with both DJs creating waves and changing the course of the music industry? In a hit-for-hit competition, DJ Khaled asserts that he is unbeatable.

Drama, who isn’t one to back away from a fight, responded to Khaled in an interview with the podcast Rory & Mal by saying, “How bout we just do it and see who wins? You can throw anybody in the mix and let’s see who wins. I want all the smoke. When it comes down to Verzuz, like what? I got a lot of cultural records. I am not to be underestimated.” At this point, it’s pretty obvious that Gangsta Grillz’s inventor indeed wants nothing more but all the smoke.
