Drake Honors Mother And Daughter Killed After His Concert

Drake is expressing his love to the mother and daughter who lost their lives tragically following his show at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Laticha Bracero and Alyssa Cordova were struck by a speeding automobile that blew a red light on February 13 while exiting Drake and J. Cole’s It’s All a Blur – Big As the What? tour stop in St. Louis. The horrific footage was shared by TMZ. Drake paused on Tuesday, February 27, at his tour stop at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, to honor Laticha and Alyssa.

Laticha Bracero died at the spot, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, and her daughter Alyssa died shortly after in the hospital. During the tragic event, other pedestrians sustained injuries. The driver has been identified as Monte Henderson. According to the police, Henderson drove his SUV at a high speed for several blocks and had previously run multiple red lights.

After allegedly exceeding 70 mph, the 22-year-old was taken into custody soon after the collision and charged with two counts of armed criminal action and involuntary manslaughter. Henderson was released from prison after a court denied the prosecution’s request to keep him behind bars on the grounds that he posed a risk to the public.
