Harrysong Rejects Potential Tinubu Administration; Says ‘Tinubu Will Never Be My President’

A possible Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has drawn the ire of Nigerians amongst them, the musician Harrysong, who posted a message on social media to that effect.

Harrysong posted a photo of the presidential election results in Ekiti state to Instagram along with a message that made it clear that he disapproved of the results, which he labeled fraudulent.

“Fake. Lie lie. Thief, Dictator .. corrupt INEC. oppressor…. Tinubu Desperately wants to be president and rule us by fire by force? .. I swear I die on this matter. So save this post. Tinubu will and can never BE my president,” the caption reads.

Harrysong is not the only famous person who has responded to reports of widespread electoral fraud nationwide.

During the election, thugs hounded Falz, Chioma Akpotha, Joey Akan, Toyin Abraham, and a few other celebrities in the Lagos state neighborhood of Oba Elegushi.
On Saturday, February 25, Nigerians went to the polls to choose a new president and National Assembly member. The emergence of Peter Obi, a Labour Party member, as a third power and an increase in voter registration, served as election indicators.

While there were complaints of widespread irregularities across many states, including voter disenfranchisement tactics, harassment, intimidation, and the destruction of voting materials, the election was peaceful in some states.

The Labour party rejected the presidential election results due to widespread irregularities in a news conference led by its national chairman, Barrister Julius Abure.

Dele Momodu, the presidential campaign’s spokesperson, voiced the People’s Democratic Party’s displeasure at the delayed uploading of results during a press conference.
