Hitmaka Has DMX Collaborations That Would Be Released Posthumously Once Cleared
Hitmaka, a highly acclaimed music producer, has had an extraordinary career in the music industry. He initially gained recognition under the rap moniker Yung Berg, but he switched to producing in the 2010s. Since then, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Big Sean, to name a few. However, one of his most treasured collaborators was DMX, whom he held in high regard. Hitmaka recently revealed that he had the privilege of producing sessions for DMX shortly before his untimely demise in 2021. He has several unreleased songs with the legendary rapper that he’s keeping on hold out of respect for DMX’s family. In an interview with AllHipHop, Hitmaka stated that he isn’t looking to make money from the proceeds and that they should go to DMX’s estate. He has been communicating with DMX’s estate to ensure that these songs see the light of day, and he is optimistic that they will be released soon.
Hitmaka has a long-standing history with DMX, dating back to when he was only 14. He signed with DMX, who helped him get a placement on the soundtrack to the 2001 film Exit Wounds. They parted ways subsequently, but they reconnected shortly before DMX’s death. During this brief window, they worked together on new music, resulting in a couple of records that Hitmaka considers a full-circle moment for him and DMX. Hitmaka is now focused on making business strides and aspires to run one of the music companies to create opportunities for people like him. He is no longer content with only being a hit producer and wants to push himself further. Hitmaka is just getting started, and both Hitmaka and DMX fans should be excited about whatever he does next, mainly if it involves the rapper who gave him his big break.
