Irish’s journey in the music industry began alongside her twin sister, Orish Grinstead, and Kameelah Williams. The trio, representing their Las Vegas roots with their group name derived from the city’s area code, soared to fame in the late ’90s. Their debut album, “No Doubt,” released in 1996, paved the way for their success, especially with contributions from the legendary Missy Elliott. However, it was their 1999 single “Where My Girls At?” from their self-titled sophomore album that solidified their place in R&B history, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The group’s journey saw the release of another album, “Star,” and contributions to soundtracks like “Pootie Tang” and “Good Burger.” Over the years, the ensemble underwent changes, with members like Amelia Cruz, Cree Le’More, and Tiffany Villarreal joining the ranks. The group disbanded in the mid-2000s but reunited in 2017, marking their return with a performance at the Soul Train Music Awards. Their bond was further showcased in the reality show “BET Presents: The Encore.”
