Kevin Gates Is Single, According to Jojo Zarur.
Gates dropped a new freestyle over Kodak Black’s “Super Gremlin” earlier today. Gates expressed his frustrations with specific individuals in the industry, among other things, during the freestyle. He appeared to confirm that he and Dreka Gates had broken up while shooting his shot at Rubi Rose, Nicki Minaj, and Beyoncé.
“Took the blame in interviews and made it look like I was trippin’/ Made the ‘Dreka’ song, lied to the world while trying to protect her image,” rapped Gates. Following the release of the song, Jojo Zarur has addressed Gates’ romantic situation. “He’s a married man. This ain’t a good look,” wrote a fan.
Zarur responded by spilling the beans about Gates’ newfound bachelorhood, writing, “lol he’s actually single. Get your facts straight.” After the two were photographed out together earlier this week, Jojo Zarur also responded to speculations surrounding herself and Kevin Gates. Zarur added her own message to a video of Gates urging followers not to “play with anything I love.”
Since October 2015, Gates had been married to Dreka, his high school sweetheart. Khaza Kamil Gates and Islah Koren Gates are the couple’s two children. Gates’ new album, Khaza, is set to be released on June 17th, and it appears like he will be discussing his relationship woes even more.
