Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Reach Divorce Settlement

The divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has been finalized.

To their four children, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, West and Kardashian consented to joint custody and “equal access,” according to court documents gathered by TMZ. Ye will also pay Kim $200,000 in child support each month. Additionally, he is accountable for covering 50% of the costs associated with the children’s security and 50% of their educational fees.

According to a different article published on Tuesday, Ye handed Kim the $4.5 million home he had just bought next door.

“The home borders Kim’s lot, so she’ll likely just tear it down—as it needs a ton of work—and add to her acreage,” said TMZ, adding that West continues to own a $60 million Malibu beach house as well as residences in Calabasas, Chicago, Belgium, and Wyoming. After her divorce from Kris Humphries, Kim and Kanye got married back in 2014.

After seven years of marriage, Kim filed for divorce from Ye in February 2021. In a February 2016 interview with Vogue, Kim Kardashian discussed her and Kanye West’s separation, explaining that she “did what made other people happy.”

Ye followed Kim’s lead by posting a lengthy poem titled “Divorce” on Instagram in March, a month after she revealed their divorce. The poem was published two days after Kardashian was pronounced legally single and given permission to use her maiden name again.
