Lizzo Makes Surprise Cameo On Season 3 Of “The Mandalorian”

Lizzo, the multi-talented Grammy-winning singer, made an unexpected cameo on the third season of Disney+’s “The Mandalorian.” The singer appeared in episode six, “Guns for Hire,” as Duchess, the wife of Jack Black’s Captain Bombardier, and the pair rule the independent planet of Plazir-15 together.

The character Baby Yoda, also known as Grogu, uses the Force to assist Duchess in winning a game of space bocce ball in the episode. Fans of the show were delighted when Lizzo’s character knighted Baby Yoda with a sword as a token of appreciation.

Fans were taken aback by the singer’s presence alongside other celebrities such as Christopher Lloyd. One even claimed that the scene of “Baby Yoda getting knighted by Lizzo and Jack Black” was not on their 2023 bingo card.

Following the episode, an ecstatic Lizzo went to Twitter to announce the news, writing, “I’m in Star Wars YALL!”

It’s worth mentioning that Lizzo has previously expressed her affection for “Star Wars,” by dressing up as Baby Yoda for Halloween in 2021. Following the success of her Emmy-winning series “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls,” Lizzo’s first-look contract with Amazon Studios has been extended.
