Matty Healy Shares New Solo Track ‘Loads Of Crisps’

Matty Healy, the lead singer of the British pop-rock band The 1975, has recently shared a new solo track called ‘Loads of Crisps’ on his SoundCloud page, where he goes by his Truman Black moniker. The song was previously released as a demo by the band in 2022, but Healy has now shared his version. Interestingly, the song’s title, ‘Loads of Crisps’ also appeared in a painting that Healy put up for auction in 2019 to raise funds for charity.

The 1975, known for their critically acclaimed albums like ‘I Like It When You Sleep, You Are So Beautiful, So Unaware of It’ and ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships,’ are presently on hiatus after concluding their world tour in support of their latest album, ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language.’ The band recently surprised fans during their ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour in Europe by performing an early rarity called ‘Anobrain’ live for the first time in eight years. The moment occurred at the Palladium venue in Cologne, Germany, and the band played it again the following night in Amsterdam.

‘Anobrain’ was initially released in 2013 as part of The 1975’s ‘Music for Cars’ EP. It was last included in a setlist in 2016, making it a rare gem for fans to see the band perform. The news of the band performing the song again has sparked excitement among their followers, who are eagerly waiting for the band’s next move. Last month, Healy revealed during a gig in Birmingham that the band had already begun working on their next album. While not much information is available about the new album, the announcement has generated a lot of buzz amongst fans, who are eagerly anticipating the band’s next move.
