Nicki Minaj Set To Headline Afro-Nation Portugal This Summer
The summer of 2024 will see Nicki Minaj headline Afro Nation Portugal. The ‘Pink Friday 2’ rapper will be headlining the event, alongside TayC and Dadju, on the main stage while Musa Keys rocks the Piano People stage, bringing their talents to the continent. An array of artists, including Tyla, Asake, J Hus, Uncle Waffles, and Rema, will also be featured in the afrobeats festival, which is scheduled for June 26–28 at Praia da Rocha Beach, Portimao. Beginning on Thursday, January 25, tickets for the event, including golden, VIP, and GA seats, will be offered online. A restricted pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. GMT, and a general sale will follow at 1 p.m. PM.
Nicki Minaj indeed has a packed schedule for 2024. She will be touring North America and Europe in the spring with “Pink Friday 2.” The nearly 40-city tour is the artist’s highest-selling tour to date, according to LiveNation.
“Pink Friday 2” was released to critical acclaim last month. It made a big impression right away, debuting with 228,000 first-week units at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. That broke Nicki’s tie with Foxy Brown and made her the first female rapper in history to have three No. 1 albums.
