In response to her message, Omah Lay said, “Today and Tomorrow.”

Drake spotted the R&B artist and later signed her to his label. The Dutch-Caribbean singer has received critical recognition for her distinct alternative R&B sound, which combines lovely vocals with extremely honest and vulnerable songwriting.

This coincides with Omah’s remarks about his personal religious beliefs. Lay stated that his reverence for the supreme deity extends beyond religious brotherhood. Despite growing up in a pretty religious home and being exposed to the concept of religion, he has concluded it is not for him.

He also confessed on Wunmi Bello’s show that he had pondered turning from Christianity to Islam. However, at this point in his life, he believes that he does not need to adhere to a religion in order to have a connection with God.

Omah Lay went further still, citing a ‘lack of proof’ as the cause of his disagreement with religion. While he believes in the presence of God, he made it clear he is not religious.
