On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Nipsey Hussle Will Be Given A Posthumous Star

Events to celebrate Nipsey Hussle’s birthday are being announced. Three years after the late rapper was shot dead in his hometown of Los Angeles, it discovered that Eric Holder was found guilty of the murder. As the sentencing hearing drags on, fans are looking for ways to remember the rapper.

As people praised Hussle’s abilities and commitment to community development, the impact of Nipsey’s death sparked a global movement. His legacy has since expanded thanks to his team and loved ones.

Along with designating Nipsey Hussle Square after the rapper, the Los Angeles Metro Station will also be introducing a new line. Marqueece Harris-Dawson, a city councilman, stated, “From Slauson and all the way to Vernon, you will see world-class pieces of art, celebrating the history and the legacy of African American people…”

The announcement that Nipsey will also be receiving a fantastic posthumous industry distinction by obtaining his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was announced by Nipsey’s close friend Karen Civil on Wednesday (August 10).

Nipsey’s inclusion in the 2022 class was first reported by FOX 11 News in Los Angeles a little more than a year ago, but it was not yet known when his star would be unveiled. Nipsey’s Walk of Fame ceremony will take place on August 15, the rapper’s estimated birthday, which would have been his 37th.
