Ozzy Osbourne Reacts To Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

Ozzy Osbourne is thrilled to have been inducted into the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. The announcement on April 22 included 16 acts and influential figures in the music industry, including Cher, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, A Tribe Called Quest, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, and Kool & The Gang. Despite being previously inducted as part of Black Sabbath, he was overlooked for years as a solo artist. However, he was finally nominated in February and is proud to be recognized for his solo work. Ozzy Osbourne is an iconic musician who has made countless contributions to the music industry, and his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is a well-deserved honour.

On Instagram, Osbourne said,

“Thank You @RockHall Voters & Fans for this induction.

“My solo career, has been a much larger part of my overall music career as a whole, so this feels more special. Not bad for a guy who was fired from his last band. #ozzy #rockhall #rockandroll #rocknroll #rockandrollhalloffame #halloffame #rockhall2024.”

In November last year, Sharon, the wife and manager of Ozzy Osbourne, boldly asserted during an interview on The Adam Carolla Show that her husband deserved to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. She pointed out that Ozzy had been a solo artist for an impressive 43 years, sold close to a hundred million albums, and surpassed the 24-year requirement for induction. Despite these remarkable accomplishments, Sharon was perplexed that Ozzy had still not been inducted. Sharon also revealed that she and Ozzy had attended a dinner honouring the 2023 Rock Hall inductees, where some attendees had mistakenly thought Ozzy had already been inducted. However, Sharon clarified that they had only been invited for the food and had yet to receive the honour of induction. Sharon said she would never beg or seek favours for Ozzy’s induction.
