Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame’s Class Of 2024 Revealed As A Tribe Called Quest, Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, Others Make Cut

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its class of 2024, which includes some of the most iconic artists of all time. Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie, who are already members of the Hall of Fame, announced the complete list of inductees on a recent episode of American Idol. The ceremony for the 2024 induction class is set to be streamed live on Disney+ on October 19th. Among the inductees are A Tribe Called Quest, Mary J. Blige, and Ozzy Osbourne, who expressed gratitude in an email. Osbourne was previously inducted as a member of Black Sabbath, but this time, he was selected for his solo success. He also mentioned that the 2021 induction of Randy Rhoads, his late songwriting partner, was his dream come true.

Other artists to be inducted include Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Kool & The Gang, Peter Frampton, and Foreigner. The Musical Influence Award, which recognizes artists who have significantly impacted the evolution and development of rock and roll music, will be given to Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and Big Mama Thornton. On the other hand, the Musical Excellence Award will be given to Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick, and Norman Whitfield. During the recent episode of American Idol, the remaining contestants performed classic songs from previous inductees, highlighting the immense influence that these artists have had on the music industry. This year’s inductees have all left an indelible mark on the world of music, and their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a testament to their enduring legacy.
