Portable Uncovers Budding Artists Who Allegedly Attempted To Land A Record Deal With Charms

Habeeb Okikiola, a well-known singer and songwriter from Nigeria who goes by the stage name Portable, has exposed up-and-coming musicians in his community who attempted to use charm to bag a record deal with him.

On Friday, January 12, 2024, Portable shared a video on his Instagram account expressing his dissatisfaction over finding out that two people were attempting to use charms on him in order to get a record label signing.

The singer claimed that although these people had originally approached him about a deal, they had failed when asked to show off their skills. Then Portable told them to get out. The two allegedly acquired an apartment next to his studio and started creating charms after having been dismissed.

When they subsequently returned, according to Portable, one of them had stabbed him in the hand and the other had threatened him with the charm on the ground, saying that he would suffer terrible repercussions if he disobeyed.

Portable stated that despite what happened, he remained strong and wasn’t afraid. After he posted a video on the internet exposing the two, many people left comments discussing the occurrence.

Portable also said that they were apprehended with locally crafted arrows and catapults with the intent of spiritually harming him. Portable captioned the footage with the fact that he is surrounded by foes.
