Queen Latifah, Run-DMC, Salt-N-Pepa Feature On Kathleen Hanna’s New “Hip-Hop-Inspired” Clothing Apparel

Kathleen Hanna has recently launched a limited edition clothing line called ‘Early Days, ‘ which is currently available for pre-order. This collection is designed to commemorate the early days of hip-hop artists in the 1980s, whose legacy continues to inspire and motivate many to pursue their dreams. The ‘Early Days’ collection features several prominent hip-hop icons, including Queen Latifah, Run-DMC, and Salt ‘N’ Pepa. The photographs of this exclusive clothing line have been captured by the renowned photographer Janette Beckman, who is well-known for documenting the burgeoning NYC hip-hop scene in the 80s and 90s.

This collection is available for a two-week pre-order and will be printed based on demand to reduce waste. The primary objective of this project is to raise $20,000 for Peace Sisters, a non-profit organization that supports girls’ education in Togo, West Africa. As the ambassador of this organization, Kathleen Hanna is committed to promoting girls’ education and empowerment.

Kathleen Hanna’s memoir, ‘Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk’, will also be published later this year. The book is scheduled for release on May 14, 2024, via the well-known Harper Collins imprint Ecco. It highlights the life and relationships of the singer and discusses the emergence of the Riot Grrrl movement. In addition to her memoir, Kathleen Hanna plans to embark on a book tour throughout the United States. Her band, Bikini Kill, reunited in 2019 and recently completed their first UK and European tour in 18 years, which was received with high acclaim.
