Stonebwoy Inks A New Deal With Warner Music’s ADA Worldwide

Stonebwoy, the Ghanaian Afro-dancehall sensation, has signed a worldwide distribution and label services agreement with ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Group’s independent label and artiste services division.

The follows the release of the Ghanaian singer’s most recent single, “Ekelebe,” which features popular Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck. Stonebwoy’s own Burniton Music Group is the conduit for this cooperation with ADA. Stonebwoy’s sixth studio album is scheduled for release later this year.

With ADA’s global reach poised to magnify Stonebwoy’s distinct sound to a broader audience, this signals the start of a new chapter in his career. With Warner Music Group’s support, the album is expected to be a big release for the Ghanaian musician. The talent manager for Stonebwoy, Casey Kobia, expressed his excitement about the new partnership.

Originating from Ashaiman, Ghana, Stonebwoy’s music combines dancehall, reggae, and afrobeats in a unique way. With his 2017 album Epistles of Mama, the multifaceted star became the first-ever Ghanaian musician to appear on the Billboard World Albums chart, and his 2023 album 5th Dimension made its debut in the Top 10 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, gaining further recognition.
