“Run Away to Mars” is currently #7 at Alternative and AAA radio in the U.S. The song has charted on Shazam in 11 countries and in three countries on Apple Music. American Songwriter said, “‘Run Away to Mars’ squeezes out every drop of humanity from his very bones…” The Aquarian declared, “TALK breaks the rules, shatters industry expectations. And blows past artistic conformity in an effort to be genuine, original, and his own rockstar in every vulnerable, off-the-wall, and timeless sense of the word.”

TALK recently played his first Los Angeles and New York City shows – selling out the legendary Troubadour and playing for a nearly sold-out crowd at the Mercury Lounge. He’s earned a spot on HITS’ list of New & Developing Artists for Quarter 4. Check out TALK’s recent appearance on Apple Music’s ALT CTRL Radio HERE.

In 2021, Ottawa native Nicholas Durocher unleashed the eclectic voice and character he’d envisioned for years – TALK. His TikTok posts with “Run Away to Mars,” a song from his debut EPTalk to Me, went viral, fueling the song’s organic success. TALK is eccentric, flashy and colorful, inspired by artists like Elton John, Freddie Mercury and Guns N’ Roses. He’d rather make his own gold sequin cape than wear a designer outfit. A multi-instrumental wizard, he writes, plays on and produces his own tracks, only bringing them to the studio for final touch ups — a rarity in today’s pop music space.
