Tems Arrives In Style To The 2024 Billboard Women In Music Awards
Tems received recognition as the Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, which took place at Hollywood Park’s YouTube Theatre in Inglewood, California.
Her hair was done in bantu knots, and she wore a black Alaia gown adorned with lace and feathers.
She later changed the ensemble to perform her latest single, “Not An Angel.”
Tems talked on being yourself and not limiting herself to a certain style of music when walking the red carpet. Tems claims that she simply presents herself as who she truly is.
In addition to honoring outstanding musical accomplishments, the Billboard Women in Music Awards also aim to motivate future generations of female musicians. Unquestionably committed and gifted, Tems came to prominence with her smash hit album, “Essence,” featuring Wizkid. Since then, she has been growing quickly.
The glamorous evening, which honored the amazing talent and global accomplishments of women in music, was hosted by the mesmerizing Tracee Ellis Ross. The 2024 event served as a platform for the many and varied voices influencing modern music.
