The “Renaissance” Album Leakers Are Criticized By The Beyhive

The long-awaited seventh album from pop star Beyonce, Renaissance, was leaked to the public 36 hours before its scheduled release on Friday, July 29. This scandalized the music industry. Through a Houston fan in France, it was discovered that her CD was already on sale in France two days before its scheduled release.

The highly anticipated album was prematurely released, and members of Beyonce’s “Beyhive” flocked to Twitter to criticize it and issue a sort of call to arms for her supporters to support her and her album.

“Renaissance” is Beyoncé’s solo album in six years. Drake, Pharrell, Tems, and her husband Jay Z will all appear on the album as featured musicians. There has been no response from Beyonce’s team on the album leak, and it appears that if anything, the leaks have raised the already high level of anticipation among Beyonce’s fans for Friday at midnight, when the expected album is set to be released.
