TWICE Feature Lauv In Remix Of ‘I Got You’

K-pop girl group TWICE has recently released a new version of their latest single, ‘I Got You’, featuring American singer-songwriter LauvThe song ‘I Got You’ by Lauv has been remixed and TWICE on X commented that it has a “whole new vibe.” The fresh version blends Lauv’s style and the girl group’s signature sound. Lauv himself felt “blessed” to have collaborated with the girl group. He said he was excited to work with them and is a big fan of their music.

Lauv has previously worked with other K-pop artists like BTS and EXO. The Lauv rework of the single is included on the ‘I Got You (Voyage ver.)’ album, which also features lo-fi, garage, and sped-up versions of the girl group’s latest English single. ‘I Got You (Voyage ver.)’ can now be downloaded via the iTunes Store, with worldwide streaming set to be available soon. The original version of ‘I Got You’ was released on February 2 as a “pre-release single” from TWICE’s upcoming 13th mini-album, ‘With YOU-th’, which will be released on February 23. This song is the first fully English single from the group since their debut in 2015. It follows the success of their previous English singles, ‘The Feels’ and ‘Moonlight Sunrise’, released in 2021 and 2023, respectively.

The last major release from the girl group was their 12th mini-album titled ‘Ready to Be’, launched in March 2023. In a four-star review, media outlets praised the project as a collection of songs that “solidified the sound the group has claimed as their own.” The album comprises six tracks, including the title track ‘Ready to Be’ and ‘Scandal’, a collaboration with JYP labelmate Heize.
