Wizkid Releases His Soulful New EP, “S2 (Soundman 2)”
Annnd…Big Wiz is back!
At first, Wizkid FC were skeptical when Wiz hinted at the release of his new EP earlier this week. It was simple to write off the EP’s announcement as just another false alarm, given his track record of making promises regarding new music that never came to be.
The Starboy has, however, proven to be a man of his word this time, shocking everyone, especially his fans, by revealing the much awaited S2 (Soundman 2) EP and silencing those who had dwindling faith in him and his music promises.
Wizkid’s most recent release, Soundman Vol. 2, is a short but powerful compilation of four tracks that demonstrate the artist’s enduring relevance in the ever-evolving Afrobeats landscape. The project is also a follow-up to his previous hit album, More Love Less Ego.
Every song on the EP demonstrates Wizkid’s ability to combine various sounds to create something original and alluring. Furthermore, Wizkid assembles a small team of collaborators for the EP rather than working alone. Notably, Zlatan Ibile and Wande Coal are featured on the EP, on two different songs.
Another area where S2 (Soundman Vol. 2) excels is in the production quality. P.Priime, who is respected for his extraordinary producing abilities, is a major influence on the EP’s sound. “S2” is now available on all streaming platforms for your streaming pleasure.
