Family

Parents

Father

Damian’s father is Watcyn Lewis. He is the city insurance salesman who had two biological sons with Charlotte but became the stepfather to her other two children from a prior marriage to another insurance broker.

Mother

Charlotte Mary Lewis is Damian’s mother. Charlotte died three days after her son’s 30th birthday in a car accident on the way to the Taj Mahal in India, where she’d been on vacation with her husband of three decades. She raised her children to be kind and thoughtful, and she always urged Damian to get married before the age of 35, but never to marry an actress. Lewis’s one great regret is that his mother did not live long enough to meet his gorgeous wife and did not get to be a grandma to his children.

Siblings

Sister

Amanda Yaxley (nee Russell) (older maternal half-sister)

Amanda, who was born in 1963, is the eldest sibling of the Homeland (2011-present) actor, and they share only one mother. She was born from Charlotte’s first marriage to insurance trader Denis Anthony Russell (who died in 1966 at the age of 32). She resides in Bristol, England.

Brother(s)

William Russell (older maternal half-brother)

He is the other half-sibling of Billions star and was born in 1965.

Gareth Hugh Bowater Lewis (younger brother from same parents)

Gareth Lewis, born on January 25, 1973, is the only other renowned Lewis son, and he, too, works in the entertainment sector. He is an English film filmmaker who has been working in the industry since his first short film, Tears of a Clown, in 2001. Lewis, the younger, founded Flare Pictures and has been married to Kate Mallinson since 2001. Their three daughters, Clementine, Tirion, and Malika, reside with them in London.

Children

With his late wife, they have a daughter, Manon, born in 2006, and a son, Gulliver, born the following year.
