Anthony Joshua Reveals Why He Still Lives With His Mom At 34

In this instance, discussions on social media have been sparked by the well-known boxer Anthony Joshua’s continued residence with his mother. Joshua reportedly paid approximately £175,00 for his mother’s house in Golders Green, North London, and they currently reside together in her council apartment. The boxer, who is British-Nigerian, has given an explanation for why he lives with his mother.
The 34-year-old former world heavyweight champion explained in a BBC interview that he still resides with his mother, Yeta Odusanya, because of “culture.” Even when he finds the proper woman to marry, he claims it will be hard to “leave my mom by herself.” The British-Nigerian boxer stated,
“When a girl gets with me, she ain’t just marrying me; she’s marrying my family. I still live with my mum. In our culture, we grew up in our own family home. We support our parents. Why am I going to move out and leave my mom by herself for some girl?
Family is the most important thing. When a girl gets with me, she ain’t just marrying me; she’s marrying my family too.”
Speaking of kids, Joshua stated that he intends to have at least seven children and currently has a son named Joseph. The boxer returned to winning ways following his fight with Robert Helenius in August to get his first victory by knockout in three years. The success came just a few months after his comeback victory over Jermaine Franklin in April after losing the 2020 bout.
