Bayern Munich Player, Harry Kane, Expresses Love For Burna Boy’s Craft
Harry Kane, a forward for Bayern Munich, has admitted that he is a major fan of Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer. In a recent interview with ESPN UK, the English player was asked about his favorite song of the moment when just blurted out Burna Boy’s “Big 7” without as much as a second thought.
Chuckling to himself when he realized the quickness of his response, Kane said he was big Burna Boy fan, to be fair. The interviewer then asked the Bayern Munich forward about the artists he would love to see live in concert, and you bet Burna Boy was one of the two stars he mentioned, the second guy being A-list British rapper, Dave.
Months before now, Harry had proven his undying love for Burna and his music after a footage of him and a former teammate dancing to Burna Boy’s music went viral on social media. The song “Last Last” by Burna Boy was playing in the team’s changing room when Kane and former teammate Yves Bissouma tried to sing along.
However, the two seemed to have a bit of trouble understanding the song’s words, since Burna Boy had perfomed both in Yoruba and Pidgin English.
