Beyoncé Makes A Comeback With A New Single, “Break My Soul”

With her new track “Break My Soul,” which was released Monday night, Queen Bey ushers in the Renaissance age. The upbeat dance tune, which samples Robin S.’s “Show Me Love” and includes Big Freedia’s ad libs, debuted on the first day of summer and will keep you grooving all season.

“Bey is back and I’m sleepin’ real good at night,” she declares. “And we back outside / You said you outside but you ain’t that outside / Worldwide hoodie with the mask outside / In case you forgot how we act outside.”

In the years after Lemonade, we’ve gotten our hands on some new Beyoncé songs, including The Lion King: The Gift, a companion album to a 2019 remake of the animated picture; Disney Plus visual album Black Is King; Netflix concert film Homecoming; and Everything Is Love, a duet with Jay-Z.

For “Be Alive”, she received her first Oscar nomination, as well as a Grammy Award for best R&B performance for her tune Black Parade. A Beyoncé solo album, on the other hand, is unrivaled.

The first single from Beyoncé’s seventh studio album Renaissance, “Break My Soul,” was produced by Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, and Beyoncé. JAY-Z is credited as a co-writer on the single. Check out Queen Bey’s new vibe below.
